Retards on Betfair Poker

I decided to try Betfair out after not playing on there for a long long time. After 1 day I had a silver star on Sharkscope, that's how small the site is. Not sure if I still have it after losing a $1k sng JJ v AQ when I had him down low in chips then 89 v 33 on a 893 flop.

Anyways I was going to try Betfair out for their rake race for a WSOP package however after just 1 day on there I had major doubts. I couldn't play higher than $77 super turbo heads up because any game $100 and upwards was just filled with regulars.

I emailed Betfair requesting they have more games in the lobby for $200 and upwards because their lobby will only allow 2 games to be registered and no more will appear until one starts then the regular will instantly join the new one again and if you do manage to get there first you are most likely going to piss them off and there is nothing worse than wasting a day battling with a regular getting nowhere.

Anyway rake race lasted 2 days before I gave up whilst playing on there though I ran into some proper annoying cunts.

3 people came to mind, Greggs, TAYLS and Lewis147. Well TAYLS is a low stake player who has made just £1500 from 5500 games which is pretty pathetic. He has a huge mouth on him and loves to grass you up should you abuse him back. Anyway I owned him so bad on there winning nearly every game I played against him and towards the end he because so bitter and angry it was funny. Have to laugh at players who claim to be fun players only but spend their whole life on poker not making any money and turn so ugly with envy of winning players.

Lewis147 has a big mouth and a small roll. Nit stuck in $100 games for the rest of his life, claims to be one of the best but struggles to break into a profit. There are other players on that site such as Wannacookie who is a complete bellend and I wouldn't hesitate in smashing fuck out of him if I met him at a live game. These players talk a great amazing game but are stuck in low stake games for the rest of their life making little or no money.

Finally greggs, doesn't play but is a serial stalker of a friend of mine MrKangaroo. Follows him everywhere to abuse him and laugh every time he loses a hand. I had the final laugh though getting him chat banned. I don't report people who abuse me as its fun and banter, they can say what they want I just laugh it off. However I feel I have ruined his fun getting him a chat ban as he can no longer stalk and laugh so his life will be pretty empty now the sad loser :)

Poker has been a bit slow to the start of this month... slowly starting to get going now but will be surprised if I get near last months figures.

Great Febuary

Had a great month this month, even though I lost £2000 in my last few days I still ended the month being $17,500 up. The £2000 I lost towards the end I near enough won back on gambling anyway.

Had a little mess around on Betfair but I don't really like it to be honest. I made about £1300 on there but to be honest the structures suck.

I have just cashed in some iron man points for a $600 bonus so that has got my March off to a good start, I just hope last months form carries over to this month :)

Thailand sorted

Well I have booked the flights for me and my mate to go. I found an amazing flight for just £90 one way from London to Kuala Lumpur so the money I have saved booking that I might go to Vegas for a week during the WSOP if anyone else goes.

So I leave in September and go to Kuala Lumpur for a few nights then fly to Bangkok and taste the night life there for a few nights, off to Pattaya for a week or so then in October I go to Ko Samui for 4 months to live like a King hopefully.

Really am so excited as I have never been before so its something new for me. Usually when I am waiting for Florida I am not bothered as I have been there so many times now. If I like the place I am 100% buying a villa out there.

I have been on a diet now for about 3 days so far so good, to help me through it I have got some appetite suppressants to stop me craving food. Started some light jogs at night to get me back into it then eventually I will be back in the gym and will get in shape in time for my holiday.

I still haven't touched a drop of alcohol now for 3 weeks and have not even wanted to drink any. I feel a million times better for it and so does my poker as I am having one of my best months so far.

Thailand villa and update

Poker has gone much much better this month, in fact I have made more this month so far in just 9 days than I done in the whole of last month - a much welcome up swing.

I have not drank now for 3 weeks, when I went to the doctors the first time he asked me, "when was the last time you went 3 days without a drink?". I really couldn't answer him. It is amazing how much I have based my life around it. Go out for a meal - have a drink, go out for a drink - obviously have a drink, get bored at home - have a drink, go bowling - have a drink everything is just based around drink.

I feel so much better for it and now next week I will start jogging again to get back in shape as poker has took its toll on me over the past few years. My cholesterol came back as 7 which is high, I have to go back in a month to get another check.

As for Thailand, booked for 4 months so far, every day that goes by the more I think about booking longer. I will definitely buy a place out there if I really enjoy it. Here are a few pics of the 2 villas I have booked so far.














This will mean that I am in Thailand for Xmas and New Year which will be much better. Sitting outside in the sun or on the beach on Xmas day with no stress over the usual shit... can't wait!!!

End of month review

Well what a terrible month, probably my worst so far, well not my worst but one of them. 2 weeks I went just going up and down up and down not sure if it was down to tilt or not playing proper or concentrating.

Ended the month $4800 up thanks to my last 3 days though where I have got back on track and have started to get some nice profitable days.

Betting started off the month great, ended up shit taking a break from it and focusing on poker only.

Thailand is booked, 2 months so far maybe another 2 months if poker is better next month. I go in September and can't wait the villa I am staying in looks amazing.

Ill post something else when I am more happy and motivated.

Waste of a week

Well not a waste sort of, £842 up in the last week +£124 rakeback a lot of people would be happy with this for a weeks wage but I cant help but feel pissed off over that tilt session.

Amazingly even after that tilt session I still managed to end up with a shark icon over the 216 games I played in the week. Takes my profit for the month to $3370 so far + $600 iron man so really $4k up for this month excluding gambling.

Ill be happy to double that with the remainder of the month as long as I don't tilt :)

Tilt over

Just before I started again Animal had come onto my msn and was saying how he dropped down in stakes as he had a little losing streak and it had seemed to work. Never really took this into account but I decided to close off the $220 games and add the $33 games so I was playing $33-$110 sngs. It seemed to work! From $2200 starting balance that day I ended up on $250 then changed my lobby hoping that I wouldn't need to deposit for the first time in 4 months. I am now up to $1850 and cleared my $600 end of year Iron Man bonus in the process and also withdrew my rakeback that went in on Friday. So although this weekend was about getting my account back up to $2k I still managed to withdraw a fair amount.

This months stats are going to be pretty poor to be honest compared to most others. I know its down to a few reasons such as me losing patience and tilting a bit but I think the main reason was because I was going in between 2 different sites, playing 2 different structures and it was effecting my game, too tight in some and too rash in others.

January has always been disappointing, people think oh its a new year, fresh start I will make these targets etc etc then in the first few weeks they realise their targets wont get met and they give up, its pretty demoralising. I however still feel that I will reach my $100k+ target for the year especially now that the Iron man bonuses will come faster and faster. This time next year I hope to be getting an iron man $600 bonus every 2 months which will be a nice $3600 a year bonus for nothing! Add to this rakeback and next year my bonuses and rakeback should actually be a basic wage in itself let alone winning money.

I almost booked Egypt yesterday to fly out today until I found out my friend has probation on Tuesday :( so that's gone out the window. It's good really as I really do need to save money but I am struggling.

I have managed to nearly pay off a credit card thats been sat there taking the minimum payment off it for about 4/5 years now once that is out the way then the true savings start. However I am tempted to dabble in the stock market as I have had a tip for something that I may put 4/5k into and hope it triples my money in a short space of time.

Tilty Tilty Tilty

Ok thats twice in a week now I have dropped over $1k in a session and it's down to a few factors.

1. Not having the patience and playing the wrong players who I dont have a huge edge over.

2. Running quite badly, losing KK, QQ, AK, AQ to ace rags and everyone hitting their draws.

3. Playing quite bad, got into the mind state "surely there is no way he has hit his flush draw again" and calling off my chips.

Back to the grind tonight $1600 down today £400 up on betting at the moment which I have just stuck on Udinese so hopefully I will build that up into a nice chunk.

Will be happy to end the day $600 down and buy a percentage in one of the best heads up players on line for the $5k event in Oz.

On a total non gambling related note, a week Tuesday I have blood tests for diabetes, liver function and cholesterol as well as getting my asthma checked up on and also going to see about my nose as I can't breathe through it again. I had it straightened the other year to help me breathe but its still always blocked.

So in a few weeks it could be a very worrying time being told I can't drink no more and will have to go on a healthy food diet to cut down my cholesterol :(

Can't be arsed with stars

The software is tilting me to fuck, I just feel on tilt playing a game and that it's taking forever to finish. On fulltilt when I have a monster I always feel I will get paid with it because the pots are always big, on stars I feel I will get fuck all.

Had loads of outdraws etc but still didnt lose anything on the site. May give multi tabling 20 tables at a time a go later on in the year with a new 30" monitor with better res but for now the heads up is over for me on there.

Fulltilts software is light years ahead of anyone else since they brought out the new lobby.

Onwards and upwards anyway, nearly on my way to cash in my $600 iron man bonus and another one on the way next month. I will miss out on my $150 reload bonus if I dont play on stars any more but fuck it $150 is nothing anyway.

Little update

Whilst being house bound because of the snow for most of this week I started giving stars more of a go when I had reached daily targets on fulltilt. I am still getting used to the blind structures but I am slightly in profit on there now after around 50 games.

The fulltilt software is a million times better for what I do. Some of the stuff stars doesn't have yet is criminal considering they are the biggest site on-line and should be leading the way.

Anyway I have suffered some pretty horrendous badbeats on there over them 50 games but managed to come out with a small profit. My plan is to build up the rest of my money in there to about $2k then have both fulltilt and stars open at the same time and just play both sites and try and maximise my profit for the time I play.

I will definitely get more games on stars than fulltilt but the standard on fulltilt seems to be a lot worse and the games seem a lot quicker too.
